PET OF THE MONTH: COMET

Hi my name is Comet. I have been selected as Novembers PET OF THE MONTH! I am 1 year and 10 months old. I have had all my shots and have been spayed. I have lots of energy and LOVE to play. I adore children and would be a GREAT addition to your family. I am a Lab/Shepard mix and have the best characteristics of both breeds. I can’t wait for you to come and meet me! Maybe you would throw a ball for me or play tug of war! Oh we will have so much fun! Come see me soon. I can’t wait to find my forever home! I almost forgot, I am half price for the whole month of November!

We are open from Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

Our Mission

To provide assistance to needy, domesticated animals in Ripley County and to educate the residents of Ripley County regarding animal welfare.

Organization Profile

The Ripley County Humane Society, Inc. is a not for profit 501(C)3 organization operating a No Kill animal shelter in Ripley County, Indiana.

The purpose of the Corporation is to secure the future of needy domesticated animals in Ripley County. This is accomplished by providing suitable care, food, shelter, treatment and placement into a humane environment, educating the public concerning animal welfare; advocating humane treatment of animals and fostering relationships between people and animals.

The Ripley County Humane Society is funded solely on donations.
