RCHS Kroger Fundraising Gift Card

Here's how it works:

  • One time only, get a special Kroger card from RCHS with $1 already on it.
  • When you shop at Kroger, show your RCHS Kroger Card at the front desk and have added to the card the amount you expect your groceries to cost. Alternatively, you could put a larger amount on the card, less frequently.
  • When checking out, use your RCHS Kroger Card to pay for your groceries. If your bill is more, you make up the difference. If it is less, the credit remains on your card for next time.
  • 5% of the amount of your RCHS Kroger Card purchase goes to RCHS! Reuse your card every time you shop-just pre-pay for the groceries (re-charge the card) each time you come in, or pre-pay less often for several anticipated grocery stops. All purchases are credited-pharmacy, etc.
You cannot buy the cards at Kroger. RCHS Kroger Cards are available at RCHS or by contacting info@rchumane.org. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Why Be A Volunteer With The Ripley County Humane Society

Because you can make a difference in our community of Ripley County for our 4-legged friends.

Anyone can be a volunteer, young or old, individually, group or as an organization. You can make a difference in the lives of animals and when you give the gift of your time, you will get back as much as you give - maybe much more.

You will never find a more grateful and accepting friend than one you have comforted. Enjoying a wagging tail, a  purr and a smile is one of the things in life that is free!

By Being A Volunteer:

· Making new friends - not only with four legs

· Relieving stress/fighting boredom

· Getting active and healthier

· Gaining an edge on getting to College

· Gaining new skills and experiences

· Spending time to make a difference

· Building confidence and self-esteem

· Feeling satisfaction by helping others

· Having fun

It can be personal or with a friend to spend an afternoon or a couple of hours assisting us to care for our animal friends. If you can volunteer regularly, Great! If not, we have special events over the year that you can help with!

Please get involved and either contact the Shelter Office or any of the Board Members
