Urgently Needed We are in need of transport carriers (especially
large ones).
Volunteering The animals need lots of love, attention, exercise, food, water and a clean living environment. If you can help by doing any or all of these things, the furbabies would greatly appreciate it. You'll be surprised by how good it makes you feel. MINORS – Should be no younger than 10 years of age. Must have a signed release paper by parent or guardian to help. Minors can only help during hours the shelter is open to the public or when at least one parent, guardian or responsible adult(s) is present. ADULTS – Must have a signed release form.
Sponsorships This program is available for those who can not foster or adopt their favorite shelter animal but wish to help by paying for food and medical care until the animal is adopted.
Fostering This program is available to those who can not adopt an animal but who can give it a temporary home until adoption. Lack of shelter space is always a problem and often new animals must be turned away. Fostering is a win-win situation, it helps the animal being fostered as well as new animals needing RCHS help. If you are interested in participating in this program, please click this link Online Foster Application
Adoption We are always seeking good forever homes for our animals. To see a list of our available pets please view our Available Pets page. If your new best friend isn't on our list, let us know and we will help find him.
Donations
Monetary donations may be mailed to: The Ripley County Humane Society, Inc. 1202 West County Road 150 North, Osgood, Indiana 47037 or dropped off when the shelter is open. All donations are tax deductible.
